Rachel, now only 14 years old. Has been singing and entertaining since she was only two years old. She began by singing in the choir and playing the piano at Bayside Baptist Church in Harrison, TN. From there, she began to expand her musical horizons by trying out for her school's talent shows and for parts in church musicals. After many years of practice and preparation, Rachel was fortunate enough to be introduced to Elmer Cole, who recorded and produced her first album in the fall of 2004. In 2005, Rachel released "Speed of Life", Her second Album. Also, produced by Elmer Cole. Also, Elmer Cole is Rachel's vocal coach and is a great friend and is a part of her family. And he is always a phone call away! Also in 05, Rachel recorded a song with Mark Gray for an upcoming movie that is do out in a couple of years. The song is called "Color Of A Heart". In 2006, This past year, Rachel had a job offer at "Elwood Smooch's Old Smokey Hoedown. In Pigeon Forge, TN. While Rachel was working there She finished her project she was working on with Jeff Belcher. Which was her 3rd album! She released it in August. After that, Still in Pigeon Forge, She recorded a Christmas Cd at MOMS Studio. Produced by Junior Mercer, also has a single featuring " Blue" and "Harper Valley PTA". Since then, Rachel has been offered a job for 2007 season at the "Country Tonite Theater". Also, she performed at the Riverbend Festival with her band "Smokey Mountain Gang". She also won the Dolly Pardon Mountain Soul Contest in Pigeon Forge,TN. And the local contest for the Colgate Country Showdown, which she will be competing at the state finals in September in Nashville,TN. In addition to her vocal persuits, Rachel plays piano in Bayside's School of Performing Arts under the direction of Mrs. Marilyn Watson. Rachel also is home schooled. Rachel is learning Guitar and Fiddle. So you better keep your eye on this rising star! |
